Woo

How might I woo you?
How can I win you?

Does the key lie somewhere hidden, deep, deep within you?

Will my heart find its way to reach into that pocket,
that your love lies inside and then gently unlock it?

Will your thoughts be; can your heart beat, ever only, for me?
Will your eyes search a room, for my face just to see?

Will you think of me often as you move through your day?
Will your smile gently soften, as your head turns my way?

Will you know my love’s real? Can you sense what I feel?
Will your heart and your mind and your soul dare to seal?

Where bides your secrets, that treasure, which gate?
Is there a door I must open, or is it all purely fate?
