Wonderland Part One

sighs reverberaite off the echo of time,
dormant doors closed in dark lines,
feetprint left in the dust of trails,
lonely thoughts stare in the mist of forgotten tales,
eyes peer out with only a smile,
twisting words to stall for awhile,
which way to turn, run left, crawl right,
the forest grows, as darkness falls it turns to fright,
a story is told, through many eyes,
unless you can read through their lies,
the stories told with many cries,
appalled that words are spoken wrong,
till the call is made and the deed is done,
but listen close and perhaps youll see,
...the true story lies, within you and me.......
