Wondering

What will the day birth as the sun kisses my
cheek?
\What new faces shall I encounter as I walk
the city streets?
\What new voices shall I hear as I hold the
phone near?
\People, places, and time are my future and
my past.
\As the moments of life passes me by whom,
where and when will he finally come into my
life?
\As I make it home at days end, who shall I
pass before I get in?
Into my solitude, I begin to cry, day after day wondering why?
\Why hasn't he found me by now, wondering why
haven't I begin to live as complete without
my other side attached to me?
\If two become one, then what is one, whole
but incomplete?
