Women of the world

Women of the world
We need your love and warmth
We need your compassion and care
Your leadership and support
For our nations rise and fall
By the decisions that men make
Women pick up the pieces
After war and strife and hate
Inspirational and supportive
Often in the background of history
We are the true power and goddesses
The answers and the mystery
Without us there is no future
Like the bees sustain our food
We bring life and light and joy
To this world we all share fully
