Woman Soldier's Love
She is crawling day and night
in the bushes of faraway land
the call of national duty
heavy on her shoulder
But a hero she is on earth
she has time to write to a friend
has time to think about family
the thought of intimacy unabated
Soldier-woman, attention
listen to this lyric
let your heart fill with fires of love
make your being jump with joy
someone is waiting for you
Far away but near you are
unseen in day light
but alive and active in dreams
let this honeyed breath of love be free
for the winds of Afghanistan
dry dusts of Arabia, Somalia
to carry them through the clouds
and whisper in your longing heart
sweetness of lit up love
that never die
