Woman of My Dreams

"Woman of my dreams..Never met her cuz i don`t sleep" I cant see her with my eyes open Reality gives me what i need but my dream gives what i want Woman of my Dreams....... teach me how to sleep so i can finally meet you, because my thoughts only last as long as my blinks do I cant be just satisfied with the basic minimum Cant keep waiting on my mind to tell me everything about you because its just as wrong as i am too many thoughts collide, and coincide with many qualities tough to find in one Woman of my Dreams....... How long until the lying becomes trying because my intentions are just as clear as the perfection seen between your eyelids Places no one focuses on How long until i have enough strength in my body to take that dirty road to meet you where i can move past the rough life above my feet to see you because nothing in life comes easy Woman of my Dreams....... How many days will walk by until i read you this poem im feeling like your life is playing hard to get with mine I just want a glimpse, just a taste of who you are before i meet you In all honesty my mind isnt ready, but my heart is in the right place So as i turn the page and write these last words, i must say goodnight I lay on my head and prepare to present these words as a gift to you While my eyelids close, indicating the desire for sleep i know i am entering the most important piece of me life Falling asleep i know that it is now that i shall meet the Woman of my Dreams.......
