Witness of the Shepherd Boys

Listen to poem:
Witness of the Shepherd Boys By David J Walker They said there were light and angels who sang Glory to God And told them not to fear That a babe was born in Bethlehem who came to save the world And they left their flocks to see him Leaving sheep alone in the hills With no one left to guard them Except for the lions and the wolves And lions laid beside the lambs As wolves stood guard all night As Shepherds knelt before the Lord Invited to the light
