Without You

I found an old love letter today, from many years ago,
As you can imagine, my tears began to flow!
I slept in your shirt again last night, your scent's beginning to fade,
Very soon I'll only have, the memories that we made!
I went back to where we first met, where we shared our very first kiss,
I wished you were still there with me, to relive our new found bliss!
I've looked through all our keepsakes again, I can't bear to throw anything away,
Maybe in a couple of weeks, but definitely not today!
I keep expecting you to walk through the door, with a smile upon your face,
You're always in my thoughts, at any time in any place!
I know that you're still with me, as I still feel your soul,
But without you to hold me, I just don't feel whole!
I wish the angels hadn't taken you and we still had all our tomorrows,
I wish that I was stronger, so I could face my sorrows!
I'll think of you always, your love for me I'll keep,
I will love you forever, I'll see you in my sleep!

A very sad but beautifully written poem, I can feel your emotions, your feelings, you ve written it so well and believe me someone told me that poetry is all about bewn clear about your feelings and emotions and in this case you ve done a very good job, it really hurts when someone who gave you the best memories pf your life itself become a memory, but their isn t anything we can do, just pray that both of you meet each other in heaven, may God bless you
