Without You
It's so easy to smile online
And say "I'm fine"
When really I'm falling apart
To a broken heart.
You left me on my own,
A queen dethroned,
None of it makes any sense,
How did we lose innocence?
You promised forever,
Now I can't get it together,
This hole in my heart widens,
As I scream your name to the Heavens.
I miss you every day,
Wish I knew what to say
To make you come back to me,
To make you see.
But I guess this is a lesson learned,
Been broken and burned,
Still I'll rise from the ashes
And sew up these open gashes......
