Without You

The nights are cold here without you
Death is a mist of slicing edges
The kind when love dies away
And I feel the bleeding slice deep within
Within my own self pity

This feeling, whatever you call it
It must have a name
But bitter tongues cannot speak of it
Without you here, it's just not the same

A monster we have all become
We now come face to face
This will all be over soon
This will all soon fade away

Together we will be again
Before the end of the day
Forever is lasting too long
But it seems there's no other way

If we stand for one another
And together face the oncoming days
There will be no doubt
That love will find a way

Thanks for ending on a positive note that makes sense. This flows so well, it is lyrical.
