Without This Distance In Between

My lips, lonely for your kisses
My skin, longing for your touch
My eyes, aching just to see you
I fear that I miss you too much

My breath should be against you
My fingers in your hair
My arms should be around you
I should not be here, but there

My heart should beat against yours
Now, that it's yours again
My hands, my mouth, my all
Are all open to let you in

My days want you to fill them
My nights spin themselves in dreams
Of you and I together
Without this distance in between

I see that you don't have soup mail...So I will tell you...If it rhymes the syllable count per line needs to be even...It can be unrhymed and the syllable count needs to be odd...As even..6,8,10....Odd 3,5,7,9...
