Without Dreams

The one thing I can't live without, is my dreams..
It's what drives my days and writing for you to see..

My eyes shut at night to a world of floating places..
I'm so clear to see as others are with blurred faces..

I put my dreams to paper for the ones that make sense..
So they can play together without a fence..

My life would be dead without nights of images and feelings..
I'd just be laying there wide awake staring at the ceiling..

So without dreams in my life this poet would be lost..
An occasional nightmare is just a small cost..

Well move over my White Knight as this "Sweetheart" feels the very same exact way as u have written.. without words to be our companions daily our talent fades away into oblivion and we remain unfulfilled.. but.. put a pen in our hand and paper on our laps or desks and we soar to new heights.. higher than an airplane flies..luv.. impressive write.. your Jersey Girl is constantly astounded ..with luv..

It is wonderful to have dreams that inspire our poetic muses, Michael. This is a unique and creative approach to the contest and I wish you success! Love, Carolyn
