Without a Sound
I lay awake
Wishing lord
My soul to take
Wake
Me up
From this bad dream
Downward spirals
Upside down smiles
Weighing heavily
On me
My very being
Empty
Want just a little company
Don’t need any sympathy
No tears to fall
For me
Just need human touch
Limping
On my life’s crutch
Want to be walking
Next to someone
Don’t need them to leave
When the walk is done
Tie my strings
Life’s become undone
When I speak
Can anyone hear
Or when my words
Leave my mouth
Do they disappear
Am I to faraway
For anyone to hear
I’m like the sun
Burning for everyone
Just trying to make
Someone’s sunny day
Just to watch them
Burn away
Please god help me
Anyway
Because I’m lost
Lying on the ground
While people walk around
And I fade away
Without a sound…..
