Within a Gilded Frame
It always looked so magical,
As I gazed upon that scene,
The lady looked so happy,
Who could she of been?
Standing in her garden,
Mysteriously drawing in,
Enchanting with her beauty,
The impression that she gives,
But does she know who’s looking?
At her picture on the wall,
Does she know she’s captured?
Imprisoned in a scroll,
Does she know she’s famous?
Worth millions on a print,
But never gets the glory,
From the wonder that she brings,
She expresses all her color,
Strokes from within the brush
Her emotions run on canvas,
The viewers have a look
Coloring people’s minds,
Imaginations! Thoughts to see,
Who is that lady?
Who's looking back at me?
Adorned with all her beauty,
In the gilded frame, I see,
