With Your Hand In Mine

With your hand in mine,
I promised my love forever.
With you by my side,
We made our plans together.
We thought that we could make it,
With your hand in mine.

I remember, that first look on your face.
Your smile, where my lips were placed.
I remember, the future we laid,
The love that we shared,
Behind this locked door,
There on the floor.
Sharing it all,
With your hand in mine.

With your hand in mine,
We were feeling so proud.
With you by my side,
Was like walking on a cloud.
I seen those tears that you cried,
With your hand in mine.

I remember, that first look on your face.
Your smile, where my lips were placed.
I remember, the future we laid,
The love that we shared,
Behind this locked door,
There on the floor.
Sharing it all,
With your hand in mine.

With your hand in mine,
We thought it was all complete.
With you by my side,
There was no dreams of defeat.
A love to last forever,
With your hand in mine.

I remember, that first look on your face.
Your smile, where my lips were placed.
I remember, the future we laid,
The love that we shared,
Behind this locked door,
There on the floor.
Sharing it all,
With your hand in mine.

With your hand in mine,
I promised you my heart....
With your hand in mine.
