With You
I hold you in my arms
so gentle and so mild,
I tell you that I love you
as my heart beats wild
I see you in my dreams,
I know the curves of your face,
I love to watch you walk
with your sophisticated grace
My search ended the day
my heart found its true soulmate,
I knew that it was you
when I threw away all the bait
The years have been kind
to you and I - now entwined,
I love you more and more
as years upon years gently unwind
How was I so greatly blessed
to find you so long ago,
you mean the world to me -
and I do love you so
A day will come in the future when
from this earth we will depart,
I'll want to do it all over again
with you - and a fresh new start.
