With You
What is love when we are apart,
At times like this it tears my heart;
I long to be there by your side,
Everything with you to have tried;
Kiss your lips, hold your hand,
As we traverse this great land;
Look into your loving eyes,
As you i caress and hear your sighs;
Hear your heart beat oh, so strong,
As I sing you a love song;
Hear your voice, gentle and sweet,
As I sweep you, off your feet;
So far from me as the crow flies,
You can still hear my lonely cries;
To be with you is my only goal,
Heart, body, mind, and soul.
