With You

Can't get to sleep at night, not knowing if she
is in your arms, knowing you should be holding me.
Hard for me to start the day, what I thought we had
just fades away.
I wish I could make you love me, I have no use,
my heart can't keep trying.
Too much pain, so many tears...
I am the one who should be there...with you.

The pain of wanting someone and not being able to have them sucks. I think you should expand on this - what makes this situation unique? What did it feel like knowing she was w/someone else? What was your love like? Why did it end? What was it like starting the day besides "hard?" Maybe compare it to something. I think there's a lot of potential here for an even better poem.
