With This Years' Passing

Be it health, finance, or be it age We all are forced to look upon Whatever before us now doth lay. With a new year apporaching It's birth just hours away I wonder how many will find Themselves alone or wrapped In the arms of a loving companion Both ready and eager to meet Whatever is coming their way. When the hour strikes midnight And the New Year opens wide If you are not with me, nor I with you You can rest assured you will be in my thoughts And I hope my memory will be there with you. We all have our battles and our bridges too burn But New Years' Eve should be special For a new beginning is about to be born. We won't live forever nature will see to that We only have now the presence And it should be filled with laughter and love. Builded around a willing sprit One able to share One willing to care. For there is really not many moments to waste Life waits for noone as the hands of time move onward Their life spans become shorter Or so it does seem As this New Years' strikes up the band May it play a loud note So our hearts can sing.
