With Or Without You

Into the night, darkening light
I ventured on my own
I found that true, with thoughts of you
I wished then to come home

If only then, I don’t know when
You would kindly take me in
I’ll do my best, forgo the rest
And devote my love again

But if you say, to go away
I’ll quickly turn then go
Your happiness, I want best
Because I love you so
