With One Voice

With one voice, we strolled hand in hand
To where earth meets sea.
With the gray sky weeping bright red,
The time fell upon me.

"I will return in better days,
My journey is not fit for two."
"Do not ignore my presence here."
"My love will always be with you."

On the sea my sun stagnated.
Apart for many moon's phasings?
Solitude was my new disease;
I sat alone, waiting - gazing.

Seasons went by without a voice.
Still I held to your words.
One by one the prayers disappeared
Then everything faded - seals; birds.

I lifted your voice as I sank.
The darkness took over;
We were swept into shadows.
Then, we woke in clover.

With one voice, we strolled hand in hand.
To where clouds meet sky.
With radiant voices singing,
Together we will fly.
