Poetry Contest Deadline: Thursday, December 7, 2017

1 original, poem on the theme of ............. The Fire Inside

With One Stone and the Fire Within

Long ago, was a burning globe
A heart like unto the sun's soul
Now all dressed up, clothed in a robe
Plethora, millions of years old

Blossoming art from dawn to dawn
A wheel from hostile to gentle
Though most are gone, life moves on
Cycle that is nonjudgmental

Moving, she wobbles back and forth
Has one stone orbiting in space
A waistline and magnetic north
She's supporting the human race

With A hundred billion births
This little home known as earth
