With My Words

With my words let me break your heart
With my words tear your soul apart
With my words let me send you higher
With my words let me ignite your fire
Let my words be the patriot’s voice
Let my words be the weapon of choice
Let my words bring you to the brink
Let my words make you stop and think
With my words let me stop the rain
With my words let me ease your pain
With my words let new ideas form
With my words let me calm the storm

a great message and poem enjoyed it very much. thank you for reading my poem Jimmy my son, yes it was hard to see this young man in a coffin to bury him was very painful. It had been three years on September 20, and in all of this time i had not written any thing about him until now, thank you for your concern.

measuring ones words with tone and expression is one thing, measuring the written word is totally different. In any case, you have succeeded in putting an artful turn on a very common thing. Love this because it says so much.

I'm the only one not just to say your words are great, but I hope you'll take them as well meant: Too much the same with the repetition of words at the start of the lines. It would be better with double rhyming: eg: With my words let me Break your heart and tear your soul apart etc. I personally think this would improve your good poem very much. Hope it helps.
