With My Hand On My Heart - Mystic

With my Hand on my Heart
With my hand on my heart, I swear
For you I will always be there……
Some say that love is a seedling
Once sown it flourishes and thrives 
Into a mystical feeling 
A flame that burns and never dies.

A reason for one not sleeping
When love’s beauteous and anew
Sending hearts to rise a-leaping
One's world turning upside down too.

Love leads to tender devotion
Dousing in a haven to share
It’s poetry of emotion
In a bountiful blissful lair.

Love has many faceted things
That strike a cord upon heartstrings 
Whether one's a pauper or king 
Love is what lifts a heart to sing.

Love's magic blowing in the air
Love’s building dreams gently with care
With my hand on my heart, I swear
For you I will always be there.
