-- With Love, and Respect --

With Love and Respect

An ungracious sea
Of turbulent thoughts
A virtuous course
               Of dismay
The forsaken ports,
The hindered refuge,
The callous advice
               Of disgrace
In a perfect storm
Came a tranquil calm
As a ray of hope;
               I can breathe
With brilliant display
The darkness is slain
You guided me back
               Out to sea

With love and respect
I’ll never forget
               Your kindness

I debated about the length, but decided on short and sweet. I need to work on longer, more descriptive writes. Thank you for your comment.
