With God At My Side
With God on my side I shall always find my way
As in His Name I tried in each part of my day
Every battle that is ahead every lesson I have learned
It is Jesus who has led allowing me to discern
With God being next to me in prayer and continual praise
I soon learn how to better see in the passing of my days
And with each time I have fallen as I lie there on the ground
I can always hear His calling oh how sweet is that sound
And by God's Grace alone I continue on my walk
Always careful in my tone as with Him I talk
For with God being so near and always at my side
I need never again fear the things for which I once cried
You too needn't be alone suffering in a pool of hopelessness
For on all His Light has shown and it is you He wants to bless
Call out to His Son and begin to feel all that elation
For in Jesus' Name we all have won as only He gives salvation
