Wishing Well
I wish I had a quarter
to throw into this well.
But with or without you honey
you know I'm living in hell.
I wish you weren't so evil.
and I wish I wasn't weak.
and I wish that i could stand on my own two feet.
Cause you lift me up so high
then you throw me on the floor.
you hurt me so but baby
i'm always asking for more.
But of all these things
ohh they'll never come true.
But one thing darling
i'll tell to you....
Oh I wish for you
Though you make my poor heart
sad and blue.
When I ask for the sun
I only see rain.
When I beg for your love
I only feel pain.
But of all of the things
that I wish would come true
Baby, I wish for you.
Something about your smile..
oh it warms my freezing heart
But oh, that same old burning desire
Tears my little world apart.
But still I wish for you
All the bad things I know
I know your gonna do
Just can't detur
the love of this girl
Sweetheart, I wish for you.
Some times, I wish you'd just go away
though baby i'll only beg you to stay.
I know that you know I can't help myself
and you know that I know your so bad for my health
I really do know I gotta let you go
But darling, I wish for you.
I know what i deserve
deserve better than this
and I know that its true
But baby i'll always wish for you.
Damn, that wishing well.
