Wishing Upon a Star

It's crazy to think we'll ever be free,
That we can go away, just you and me.
And we can leave everyone behind,
Relaxed,body and mind.

It's funny how you have to go away,
And I'm left here to stay.
Waiting,wondering what to do,
All I want is to be with you.

Sure you have things and people to see,
Can't you just sit and be?
Or whisk us far away from here,
Somplace where the sky is clear.

So we can go and watch the stars,
And you can even show me mars.
Somewhere we can be together,
Not just now,but forever.
