Wishing On a Star

On my mind I can see the life of my dreams
Dancing of clouds, streams, and big moonbeams
Laying in fields of flowers and butterflies
Eating cotton candy and sweet apple pies
See the good, for no bad are here to be seen
It feels like springtime when the grass is green
Running down valleys into clear blue springs
These are a few of my most favorite things
Floating on carpets made out of white clouds
Eating chocolate covered cherries by the mounds
The man of my dreams, right beside me there
Laughing and loving without one single care
If wishes you wished could really come true
I would wish on a star to always have you
The make-believe, the wishes, and happy dreams
Are nothing compared to the way my face beams
Whenever you walk into a crowded place
I feel like I am walking in outer space
I don't need the fantasy or the wishing wells
Our bond to each other is as strong as nails
