Wishing On a Star

Tonight I wished upon a star.
I turned around and there you were.
An angel dressed in glowing white.
Come down from heaven for me tonight.
I looked inside your eyes to see,
The message you came to give to me.
I tried so hard to peer inside,
To what you attempted to try to hide 
But, I saw it all so true,
In another life my love was YOU.
