Wishing On a Star

Sometimes we wish on a star to only have it crash in our life
Have it destroy what you know
Have it replace everything good
One day will the wish come true?
Or was it all for nothing
A hoax.
A joke.
A betrayal on your life
Fooled by false hope
Misguided wishes
The end of that lucky star
But sometimes you have to take a chance
Even to wish on that unlucky star
