WISHES OF THE YEAR 2025
Wishes of year 2025 ? Unfulfilled !
In course of time, near or perhaps in future,
all may be turning useless, losing their thrill,
even if I try my utmost and nurture.
Last years' wishes those completely went in vain
yet still nourishing and cherishing in mind,
repeating continuous as a refrain
I'm carrying those and could not leave behind.
Series of last years' wishes again to wait
eagerly to achieve their right fulfillment,
though quite ignorant of their ultimate fate ,
whether to rejoice or simply lament !
I'm not the person to give up hope or leave.
Trying and expecting, being optimist.
Hard work to be rewarded, I must believe.
That will be my last satisfaction at least.
