Wish You Were Here

i sit at the beach and look back at all the times
the good times, the bad times, and evens some of the lies
i remember excitement of having you there
someone who i could care for and be cared
you are i'm best friend
the one i trust until the end
although we've haven't known each other long
i already know our friendship belongs
i look at my other friends friendship falling apart
and I'm glad we are so different like balls and darts
so heres my little silly poem for you
and I'm glad you'v been there for me through and through
so now I'm sitting so lonely as the tide draws near
my only thought is i wish you were here.
