Wish I Was the Camel

Wish I Was A Camel
( Children's song words and music by Joan Donnelly Ellis)

Oh I wish I was one of the camels who carried the wise men
To our Savior Jesus born in Beth-le-hem
You know I betcha the camel was a very spesis amnal
The one and only camels known to man and mamal
To carry across the desert sands the Three Wise Men
Oh I wish I was the camel who followed the star
To the manger in Bethlehem with the wise men from afar
How cool to be carrying frankincense, myrrh and gold
To give to Baby Jesus, the Good Shepherd from God's fold
