Wish

Every night I look up high
And see a million burn the sky
It doesn't matter what time of
year
I take for granted they'll re-
appear...
So I can bathe within a fountain
Made of stars upon this
mountain,
While looking down on
yesterday
Just hoping it would fade away...
Like the world below my feet
I'm wrapped within these
bloody sheets,
To take my last within a glance
So I don't miss my only chance...
I raise my arms just like before
Not just to pray but ask once
more,
Like yesterday I say amen
I make a wish then jump again...
