Wisdom of the Ages

How can one survive,
a heart that can feel?
When a simple word,
can cut like sharp steel.

The human being,
hurts so many ways.
One day the body,
all of us betrays.

The mystery here,
is have we been shamed?
If all we have learned,
is how to be tamed?

The great ones have said,
there is a reason.
In every success,
there is a treason.

Only when coupled,
with the great divine.
will a man know peace,
in his lifes design.
