Wisdom From Above
Can true wisdom be found, do you think?
Where do you go when you’re on the brink
Of losing your mind in this troubled world.
When lawlessness rules and lies have been told.
There’s only one place we’re sure to find
The truth about life and how to be kind.
It’s found in the Bible which is God’s Word.
As in Psalms and Proverbs there’s much to be heard.
Did you know that humbleness is a desirable trait?
That arrogance is just a subtle way to bait
The fools who think that they can be gods.
If only they knew with Whom they’re at odds.
God's message brings joy to those who are just
His promises are sure; in them we can trust.
The wicked will soon no longer be.
But those who love God will soon be set free.
The Earth will become a paradise,
With endless peace and endless life.
All will rejoice forever as one
In this new world under God's Son.
By reading the scriptures, you’ll surely gain
Knowledge and understanding--- all with no pain.
Yes, wisdom can be acquired for everyone who yearns
To put into practice God's love that he learns.
