Wisdom For the Journey
The journey,
A solitary path,
Narrow
and unsteady.
No compass to guide;
Only wisdom inside;
Soft voice to be heard;
In stillness it resides.
In quietness;
Listen;
This wise guide speaks
To those inclined to hear.
Wisdom beckons courage;
Lessons to be learned
in the journey,
A daily step.
Regret,
my teacher.
Forgiveness
my healer.
Wisdom leads me deeper
in the journey
And whispers hope
To stay the course.
