Wipe Away the Scars

do i deserve life i want to cry, to sigh, to lie the answer i sometimes fear is no for i have sinned like no other i have placed my heart in evil hands allowed it to be manipulated, broken, hurt my heart i now place in hands but i dont know if they will hold it, caress it, sooth it tears form in my crystaline eyes will you hold my heart, and wipe the scars from my life?

Hi Rain, thanks for your comment. I was too, molested when I was a little girl and that is where the poem came from. I hate that it reminded you of at time like that, but some how we are reminded of it every day. But know that you are not alone with that feeling, and I'm glad I know I'm not the only one now with that feeling. ~Kristin

i'll open your eyes to a true and beautiful life. the scars that you continue to hide, i will make you reallize that they are made you who you are! you can have the whole wide world, don't cast this aside, don't be lead by pride, i won't let a single tear fall from these eyes. you've been manipulated, broken, and hurt and now it's time to be appreciated, alive, and given what you deserve. just open these eyes.....great poem.
