Winters Gone
Oh, enchanted winters gone,
Do you still sing that merry song?
Of frosted gentleman built with care
and magic buzzing in the air.
The angels living in the snow,
That hid the world beneath its glow.
The nights that crept upon the day,
So city lights would blow away.
I hold that wonder lovingly;
Residing in my memory.
Though sadness sometimes pricks my chest
For time never ceases passing,
I remember you, my fondest days,
And find that I am laughing.
Oh, enchanted winters gone,
I can still hear your merry song.
