Winter's Day Triolets

I find I'm blind, I'm cold and lost.
A lesson that this winter's brought.
I'm storm beset and tempest tossed.
I find I'm blind, I'm cold and lost

Dark winter's chill of silver frost
has froze my mind, I'm lost in thought.
I find I'm blind, I'm cold and lost
A lesson that this winter's brought.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh! Now the sun's come out to play
on this once dreary winter's day!
Inviting warmth and love to stay.
Oh! Now the sun's come out to play.
A dash of light, a single ray
has changed my very thoughts today.
Oh! Now the sun's come out to play
on this once dreary winter's day!
Gosh, where were YOU when I hosted my triolet contest a few months ago? You have the rhythm of a triolet down to art form!! Good message too. LUv, Andrea
lovely poem of hope. I appreciated the consistent meter and simple rhyme structure. An easy, fluid read. Nice job!
Once again, I like the rhyme scheme. I think it actually compliments the very tone of this piece.
