It's a gloomy day; Spring is on Her way, yet I feel somewhat depressed. I enjoy the sun but there has been none; today mirrors all the rest. The birds aren't singing; Winter's still clinging and the sky's stained somber grey. The air is chilly; it may sound silly, but I fear Winter may stay. There is not much snow just an inch or so; but April is near its end. When Winter won't budge, time gives Her a nudge; or She will overextend. I dream of when green will dapple the scene; and flowers bloom in color. But with only white and no buds in sight, today seems so much duller.
