Winter Unkind

And the Winter wind moaned and cried. Showing it's dominance over all. When, out on the deck, I spied the first snowflake, ever so small. As Winter now pushes aside the Fall. The first snowfall of Winter's a beauteous sight. Softly falling out of the sky. Leaving the ground a blanket of white. A most pleasing sight to the eye, eliciting many a sigh. Winter, Oh Winter , ... the cruelest season, to your beauty we are not blind. But the cold and the wind, sometimes beyond reason, will bring back memories to remind that Winter's too often unkind .

The place where we live has never seen snow, and winter is very mild, yet I feel cold and uncomfortable, so I can understand when you say that winter is too often unkind:)
