Winter Scene

Soft snowflakes falling, winter comes calling, Wind shakes the pine trees, snowman's time to freeze, Birdsong's enthralling, cardinal's drawling; Lamppost lights the way, houses silent stay, Cold nights, brumal breeze plus minus degrees, The snowman can't play, the red bird feels grey; Silence rules the scene, white covers all green, Wintry winds do tease the bright bird's chemise, The snowman's seen smiling like Mr. Bean. Well, I can't say I'm looking forward to it. NE Ohio gets pretty nasty. But it does have its own special charm, as you poetically point out
