Winter Is Only a Visitor

It was the last thing I needed
And what I needed went unheeded
At winter under the cherry tree
You have gone from me
I have felt no need to ask you why
for the answer has come by and by
And as winter is only a visitor
always true not sinister
The eagle will keep looking at the sky
Now that I feel I am wrong
for having waited for long
nothing is left to do or say
except keep my tears at bay
And the eagle will spring back and fly
