Winter Frost

A sheath of glass glittering over frost
Winter rain pervading my yard
Daffodils submerged by ice balls
Shining like a star
Biting nose hidden by a mask
Khombu boots gripping my calf
Beanie hats itching my ears
Rubbing watery eyes with playful hands
Tied in gloves concealed in pockets
Of jackets as heavy as an oak tree
