Winter Dreams

winter dreams

                                         winter branches
                                    blanketed in snowy lace
                                     dreaming of the spring

Brilliant Haiku, Paulette. To me, in mid of winter, covered with "snowy lace" trees dream of Spring. Love and blessings ~ Mala

A gem of a poem, Paulette. My few orchids dream of summer unless this cold kills them.

Orchids are so lovely, my husband seems to have a knack for them. He takes my spent ones and brings them back to life. I imagine the sunlight at his place of business revives them back to life. Thanks for stopping by to comment~and good luck with your orchids. Blessings, Paulette

Yes Paulette, trees dream...an old woodsman once taught me to gently approach a tree that summons me, softly reach out and touch all my fingers to the bark, close my eyes & listen, a favorite ritual...great 'ku my friend...

As you can imagine Paulette, I am roommates with 22 houseplants, each of varied temperament, but all prefer free-jazz & sunlight!
