Notes About The Poem

Just a bit of whimsey.

Winter Dance

I heard the singing of the stars
In a deep blue winter night.
I heard the hum of the universe,
And it filled me with delight.

I rode on a blazing comet far
Across an electric sky
Beneath a sliver of silver moon
Shivering there on high.

I watched as the rosy, golden dawn
Painted the eastern sea,
And I sang to the sun of stars and moon
That danced the night with me!
