Winter Beard

Winter beard is walking briskly down the busy street
Stirring the impatient crowd to their anxious feet
Frowning at daylight searching at midnight
Holding court on vacant farmlands throughout the valley
While penetrating and seducing quiet communities.
It hisses and lashes dances and prances
As it climbs diligently up the crooked hill.
Hats on the ground boots all around
Winter beard is creating havoc in the industrious town.
