Winter

Whiteness falling whirling white
in the crisp hushed winter's bite.
Nipping flakes light the dark night
that gathers on window pane.
Evening's moon begin to wane,
relaxing by candlelight.

Wow, this brings me into the mood of winter! Though I'm not ready for winter just yet, I want Autumn to come first, but this poem surely brightens up what winter brings with it!
